HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION
Deposits and Payments
RENO -
7 & 8 DAY TOURS: A deposit of $100.00 per person is required at
the time of booking and the final payment is due not less than 30 days
prior to departure.
ALL OTHER SUPER HOLIDAY TOURS: A
deposit of $200.00 per person is required at the time of booking and the
final payment is due not less than 60 days prior to departure. Space
will be automatically released if the above procedure is not followed.
ALL COACH AND CRUISES: A deposit of $250.00 per person is required at
the time of booking and the final payment is due not less than 90 days
prior to departure date.
All Coach & Super Holidays Tours:
Cancellation prior to 90 days: Client
will receive a full refund of the NET AMOUNT received by International
Coach Tours, less $100.00 per person administration fee.
Cancellation within 90 days: 100% non-refundable.
Revision
Fees: Due
to the increasing costs of administration and communications,
International Coach Tours is forced to impose a fee of $35.00 per file for
changes to the original booking inside 15 to 3 days of departure date of
said tour i.e. - Room type, pick-up point and name changes etc. Within
48 hours of departure date no changes will be permitted. A change of
departure date will be considered a cancellation and cancellation charges
will apply.
Cancellation
Penalties: International
Coach
Tours requires notice of cancellation to be confirmed
immediately or by the next
business day.
Reno
- 7 & 8 Day Tours: Cancellation
prior to 30 days: Clients will receive a full refund of the NET
AMOUNT received by International Coach Tours, less $50.00 per person
administration fee. Cancellation within 30 days: 100%
Non-refundable.
All
Other Super Holiday Tours:
Cancellation prior to 60 days: Clients will receive a full refund of
the NET AMOUNT received by International Coach Tours, less $100.00 per
person administration fee. Cancellation within 60 days: 100%
Non-refundable.
Medical
and Cancellation Insurance: International
Coach Tours strongly recommends that all clients traveling should carry
additional medical and cancellation insurance coverage. This coverage is
available through your local travel agency. The insurance MUST be
purchased at the time of booking. If a letter of cancellation for
your insurer is required from ICT a fee of $25.00 will apply.
Special
Requests: We
will be happy to advise hotels of any special requests such as 'request
king bed, 'room near elevator,' 'lower floor', 'non-smoking room', etc.
provided we receive the request at time of booking. However, we cannot
guarantee all such requests as some hotels might have limited
availability.
Accommodations:
All
reservations are made
on a first come - first served basis.
• Twin means two beds for two persons.
• Double means one bed for two persons.
• Triple means two beds for three persons.
• Single means one bed for one person.
Tour
Costs: Are in
Canadian
funds and are based on fares, tariffs and rates of exchange current at
press time, December 1, 2006 and are subject to any adjustments which may
be rendered necessary by an alteration in such
fares, tariffs and/or rates. All prices quoted include
transportation, accommodations, attractions and side tours as outlined in
individual itineraries.
Itinerary
and Hotel Changes: International
Coach Tours Inc. reserves the right to make, with or without notice, any
changes in hotel, transportation, accommodation or schedule without
liability to the client. International reserves the right to cancel for
any valid reason any trip or tour without liability on the part of
International or its Agents. international pledges to make every effort to
operate all tours as advertised. Situations may arise that necessitate
changes or exceptions in the itinerary International reserves the right to
alter or curtail the itinerary and substitute hotels and/or conveyances as
it is deemed necessary.
RULES
OF THE ROAD:
Coach
Information: International
Coach Tours use motor coaches featuring plush reclining seats with foot
rests and individual lighting. The coaches are washroom equipped and fully
air- conditioned with stereo systems and large
tinted scenic windows.
Please Be Prompt.
Please
consider others by being on time. Although we try not to run on a rigid
schedule, fifteen minutes wasted four
times
a day is an hour that can never be made up without taking time away from
other stops. Anyone unduly late may be left behind at the discretion of
the Tour Director or Driver.
Motorcoach Seating: Seat
rotation is mandatory
on all our tours, so that we will not show
partiality, exceptions cannot be made.
Smoking:
Is not
permitted on motorcoaches. Stops are made en route for pictures, etc.
Also, some restaurants and hotels now have smoking restrictions.
Membership:
International
Coach Tours reserves the right to terminate the tour of any person(s) who
are abusive of others or whose behaviour disrupts the operation of the
tour.
Travellers
Needing Special Assistance: International
Coach Tours regrets that it cannot provide individual assistance to a tour
member for walking, dining, or other personal needs. Person(s) needing
such assistance for personal needs must be accompanied by a companion.
Tour
Directors: Our
Tour Directors keep the fun times rolling while unobtrusively handling all
the details that make travelling with International Coach Tours a truly
enjoyable and worry-free holiday.
Tour
Drivers: International
Coach Tours drivers have carried over a million people in the last twenty
years and their record is outstanding for safety, courtesy and
professional attitudes; our drivers are specifically chosen for their
ability to cater to the needs of the travelling public.
Luggage:
Price of tour
includes handling of one large suitcase per person throughout the tour.
Carrying cases (tote bags, etc.) may be brought on board the motorcoach
but are the
passengers responsibility. Although every effort
is made to handle passengers luggage carefully, we cannot be
responsible, assume liability or accept claims for loss or damage to
luggage due to breakage, theft, wear and tear or through
hotel and group carrier handling.
Border
Crossing and Documentation: In
general Canadian citizens may travel to the U.S. as long as they have proof
of Canadian citizenship. For other destinations or for anyone who is
not a Canadian citizen, please inquire about proper documentation at time
of booking or contact a local immigration department. It must be
understood that International Coach Tours cannot take responsibility for
any
problems arising from improper documentation and the
Cancellation Insurance will NOT
apply. All tours will
be 100% non-refundable.
Recommended Documentation:
Birth
Certificate, Passport, Citizenship Card. Also picture identification if
not using a passport, a valid Driver's license or BC ID is acceptable with
a birth Certificate or Citizenship Card at press time. Regulations
may change in 2008. Call for up-to-date information.
Liabilities: International
Coach Tours Inc. or any of its affiliate or subsidiary companies shall NOT
become or be liable for or responsible for any loss or damage to personal
property or
otherwise, in connection with any accommodations,
transportation or other
services, or resulting directly or indirectly from Acts
of God, dangers incident to the sea, fire, breakdown of machinery or
equipment, act of Government or other authorities, dejure or defacto, wars
whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, delays caused
beyond the company's control or for any loss or damage resulting from
improper or insufficient passport, visas or other documents, and that
neither the company nor any of its affiliated or subsidiary companies
shall become or be liable or responsible for any additional expenses or
liabilities sustained or incurred as a result of any
of the foregoing causes.
